Our Solar System
The Sun and the nine planets are part of the Solar System. The nine planets are Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. The Sun is in the centre of the Solar System. all the nine planets move around the Sun in a large oval path. The planets also spin by itself.

Many young animals do not look like their parents. They undergo changes before they look like their parents. Can you name the animals?

Animals have different life cycles. Some young animals look like their parents. For example, hamters and chick.

Do you know? Sometimes other insects lay eggs on a caterpillar's body. When the eggs hatch, the young insects will eat the caterpillar until they turn into adults.
